Joseph Kiley Memorial Grant
The Joseph Kiley Foundation is committed to finding a cure for ALS once and for all. During his battle with ALS, Joe was fortunate to be able to participate in clinical trials being run through the Healey Center for ALS at Massachusetts General Hospital. Even after he knew his ALS was so advanced that a cure could no longer save him, he was adamant about continuing to participate in any trial he was eligible for in the hopes that he would play a role in finding a cure for others.
SInce our organization’s founding in 2021, we have hosted the Walk to End ALS three times and raised over $60,000 for ALS research at the Healey Center. Researchers there are leading efforts to end ALS and we’re proud to have contributed to the significant progress they have made in the last few years.
It’s time for us to do more.
We’re proud to introduce the Joseph Kiley Memorial Grant. This grant will support individuals and their families as they participate in clinical trials for ALS research. Award funds can be used to subsidize expenses related to participation in a clinical trial, including (but not limited to) hotel rooms, rental cars, flights, food/drink throughout the duration of the trip. Expenses must be incurred by the person living with ALS or a caregiver.
